Poker pot odds calculator

Required equity = amount to call ÷ (pot before call + amount to call) × 100%. The pot before your call already includes the opponent's bet.

For a pot-sized bet, the pot is 100 BB after the bet and it costs 50 BB to call: 50 ÷ (100 + 50) = 33.3%. This is immediate pot-odds math, not a complete GTO recommendation.

Worked pot-odds examples

If the pot is 80 BB after the opponent bets and calling costs 20 BB, you need 20 ÷ (80 + 20) = 20% equity to break even before rake and future action.

If the pot is 100 BB after the bet and calling costs 50 BB, you need 50 ÷ (100 + 50) = 33.3% equity. Compare that threshold with the equity of your hand against the opponent's range; the threshold alone does not determine a complete strategy.
